What We Do

Our Vision Statement

Caledon Elementary Academy aims to provide a truly holistic learning experience. Class sizes do not exceed 10 students to 1 Ontario Certified Teacher, and are determined based on each student’s needs. The small class sizes allow each student to receive one on one attention, allowing them to genuinely excel.  Since each student’s emotional and spiritual intelligence is of the highest importance, our holistic approach leads to greater mindfulness, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.  We believe in providing a balance of active and expertly designed lessons to teach the curriculum in a way that is hands-on and engaging.

A Day at Caledon Elementary Academy

Every morning begins with 1 hour of yoga led by certified Yoga Instructors. During this time students are guided through practices of reflection and meditation to develop their emotional and emotional learning. Before morning lesson is begun, students spend 5-10 minutes grounding to allow them to transition more smoothly. Students then break off into groups that are determined by their areas of need. Lessons are led by Ontario Certified Teachers who strive to create lessons that are hands on, engaging and practical.  At Caledon Elementary Academy, Friday’s are designated to the arts. We pride ourselves on the incredible lessons and instructions that the students are able to receive from highly trained and established artists.
